Insurance data released on Tuesday in China shows estimates of Tesla’s local sales within the country landing at 32,224, from the period of January 30 to February 26, 2023.
Data compiled by @Tslachan shows from January 30 to February 5, Tesla saw insurance registrations of 8,643, followed by 69,63, 5,913 and 10,705 within the week of February 20 to 26. Insurance registrations may give a glimpse of vehicles sales in China.
Roland Pircher put these numbers right into a chart and says after just two months in Q1, Tesla has the “second best quarter ever in China.”
