Tesla has increased the value of the Model Y in america, yet again.
This time, the value increases affect the Model Y AWD (with 4680 cells) and Model Y Performance, with changes happening on Friday, as spotted by @Tslachan. Take a look at the value changes below, with increases of $500 USD:
- Model Y AWD: $51,490 USD (+$500)
- Model Y Long Range: $54,990 USD (no change)
- Model Y Performance: $58,490 USD (+$500)
Only one week ago, Tesla increased the value of its Model Y Long Range by $1,500 and Performance by $1,000, but additionally decreased the value of the entry Model 3 RWD by $500. With today’s price changes, that makes for 2 price changes in February alone.
Delivery times are showing as March-May for the Long Range and February-March for the Performance.
Select Model 3 and Model Y vehicles qualify for a $7,500 federal tax credit. Those who haven’t purchased their vehicles at the moment are in for some surprise price increases. Tesla also recently hiked prices in China as well for the Model Y RWD.
