Tesla Increases Price of Model Y RWD in China

Tesla continues to tweak its prices worldwide and its latest price hike is available in China.

The electrical automaker on Thursday evening increased the worth of the Model Y rear wheel drive (RWD) by 2000 RMB, now starting at 261,900 (was 259,900), reports @Tslachan. That’s the equivalent of a $294 USD price jump.

The worth increase comes after Tesla decreased the Model Y RWD on January 6, 2023, from 288,900 RMB right down to 259,900.

As of writing, the Model Y RWD in China has an estimated delivery time of two to five weeks, with vehicles produced at Gigafactory Shanghai.

Recently within the U.S., Tesla increased the worth of the Model Y within the U.S., and lowered the worth of the entry Model 3.
