Tesla began delivering Model Y and Model 3 to Thailand after about 2,000 vehicles arrived within the country at the top of January. That is the primary official shipment of Tesla cars to the country where they’re highly popular.
Tesla customers in Thailand celebrated the nice news: the corporate has began deliveries of its vehicles to the primary customers. @Tslachan/Twitter shared that on February 11, Tesla began handing over Model 3 and Model Y to customers during a gala event at its delivery center. In the approaching days, more vehicles from the primary batch will probably be delivered, and 1000’s more will probably be delivered when one other ship arrives within the country.

The primary batch of roughly 2,000 Tesla Model 3s and Model Ys was spotted on the Thai port of Laem Chabang on January 19. After the cars were delivered to the delivery center and ready for handover to customers, the corporate held a solemn ceremony. Employees and customers of the corporate celebrated this event together because Tesla cars have long been popular within the country. Although prior to this, the corporate had not officially been delivering its cars here, consumers bought them from dealers or delivered them themselves, and Model 3 even ranked among the many top best-selling cars within the country a couple of times.
Tesla opened the order page for its cars in Thailand on December 7, together with the opening of the primary store within the country. In December, local publications reported that the variety of orders in the primary 48 hours exceeded 5,000 units. The primary deliveries were expected in the primary quarter of 2023, which is true. In line with information received in December, the second batch for Thailand is scheduled no later than the center of the yr.
