The brand new expansion will concentrate on hiring engineers specializing in research development and artificial intelligence as the corporate grows on this direction. Tesla has leased office space previously occupied by Hewlett-Packard. The expansion will open up many recent positions inside the company, helping to speed up efforts to construct full self-driving technology and robots.
Throughout the announcement, the Governor emphasized that he was glad that Tesla was born in California and noted the achievements of the manufacturer, which have benefited not only the US but the entire world. The state has also grow to be an integral a part of Tesla’s success. The corporate’s cars are the best-selling vehicles there. Tesla can also be the most important employer within the state and is continually expanding its operations. In line with a January 2023 blog post of the corporate, as of 2022, Tesla had 47,000 employees in California.
