There was one other sighting of the newest beta production construct of the Tesla Cybertruck, this time from the front, and it shows the electrical stuck still has the controversial and large front wiper.
Last week there was the primary sighting of the newest version of the Cybertruck in Palo Alto, California, however the photo and video only showed the Cybertruck from the side and the rear. The brand new footage showed the design had been updated with triangular shaped side mirrors to match the lines of the Cybertruck itself. Elon Musk confirmed in a tweet to Drive Tesla that it was the newest construct and really near the production design (and that the side mirrors are still going to be removable), but that more tweaks were needed before it would be finalized.
Many fans at the moment are hoping one among those design tweaks still to come back will likely be to the front wiper of the Cybertruck, as a brand new photo shared by Marc Delice on the Tesla Cybertruck Facebook page shows it continues to be present on this latest version. Unfortunately no other information was included with the photo, but we presume it was taken today, also in Palo Alto. (h/t: @greggertruck)
The large wiper has been a thorn within the side of many Tesla fans, and apparently Musk himself who has previously said this a part of the design troubles him essentially the most. He had also suggested a wiper that may very well be stowed behind the front trunk can be ideal, but at the identical time complex to perform. Based on this photo it appears they were unable to implement this suggested design…yet.
Manufacturers need to ship cars with side mirrors by law, but owners are allowed to switch their cars.
The wiper is what troubles me most. No easy solution. Deployable wiper that stows in front trunk can be ideal, but complex.

Fortunately Musk has also previously said this monolithic wiper is “not the production wiper,” so we could still see a change by the point it lands within the hands of the primary customers. If this seems to be the ultimate design, it would actually be two larger wiper blades under the one arm. We noticed this after we got an up close take a look at the wiper on the Cyber Rodeo last 12 months.
Here’s a closeup of the Tesla Cybertruck’s massive wiper.

Apart from the side mirrors, there doesn’t look like anything very different from the front of the Cybertruck on this latest beta production construct. Do you see anything recent? Tell us within the comments below.
